ECU removed, opened and inspected. SMD component soldered back onto the main board.
Engine ECU has tooling marks indicating lid has been off in the past.
Full global serial scan carried out and various network faults found in various modules.
Visual checks carried out in the engine bay and ABS multiplug found disconnected.
ABS plug refitted and previous loom repair inspected.
Further test reveal a wire in the ECU loom suffering from water ingress.
Wiring fault rectified.
Vehicles communication network monitored on the scope and logged.
Vehicle road tested.
